Mohammad Eghbal: ACTIVITIES

Since 1989 Mohammad Eghbal did many concerts in Europe and USA together with his wife and with the ensemble AHURA and participated in various cultural cross-over projects for inter-religious understanding:
Dance of the World/ Palais Lichtenstein (Vienna 1989), Mozart Requiem (Salzburger Festspielhaus 1991), Music of the Religions (Innsbruck 1996), Poesie verticale (Lille –cultural capital of Europe 2004), concerttour in USA (San Francisco, Portland, San Diego, Santa Cruz…2004), inter-religious Peace-gathering (Portugal, Schweiz 2004/2005/06/07), Munich (Allerheiligen Hofkirche Oktober 2004) Festival of Mumbai (with Ustad Sultan Khan 2005), Neysoloprogramm (ethnological museum Munich 2005), "stagioni del cielo..." (Milano/ Italy-castello Sfozesco 2005), memorial cross-over concert for Ustad Vilayat Khan together with Ustad Sultan Khan (London-März 2006), from heart to heart (Psychotherapy and Spirtuality (Wels/Austria 2007), 13° Festival Internazionale di Poesia (Genova/Italy 11-23 june 2007), Festival di musica acustica etnica (Comune di Trento/Italy, july 2007), Festival di Amalfi/Italy (september 2007), 800th anniversary of Rumi(Munich/Gasteig 2007) concerts also in Venice Turin, Graz, Salzburg, Brussels Nürnberg, Köln, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Baden-Baden Portugal, Mohammad is working with different musicians over-crossing cultures and religions to connect people beyond all differences of race and nation.
